Important Info

1. All entry fees for the 4v4 Mw3 & Gears 3 will go to the prize pool. The house will not take a cut of the 4v4 entry fee’s
2. No age limit
3. Please bring your own controller
4. We will be using hdmi chords not VGA cables for this event. Your head sets may not work with HDMI
5. No refunds
6. All payouts will be announced before the tournament starts
7. Only taking 32 people for the FFA

Gears of War 3 GameTypes/Settings

Gametype: Execution
Starting Weapons: Lancer and Gnasher
Default weapon swaps to the current xbox live GoW3 update.
Single elimination

Rounds to Win: 4 (Lobbies will be set on 15 in case of stalemates/man up rounds.)
Round Time Limit: 4
Number of Bots: 0
Bleed Out Time: 20
Friendly Fire: On
Weapon Respawn: After Pickup
Map Selection: Host Chooses

Rules:

1. In the 4v4 tournament each team will host two maps, (if necessary). To determine first pick of host map a coin toss will take place. The winning team will select one map, the maps will be played in order. So for example if team A in map rotation one (see below or post three) selects the map “Hotel” first in round one they would host the third map “Hotel”. The opposing team would then select either map 1, 2, or 4. Then the first team would choose their next map (1-4), leaving the remaining map for team B.

2. If the tiebreak map needs to be played the team who won the most combined rounds maps (1-4) would host tie-breaker. For example team A wins the first two maps 4-0, and 4-0 then losses the next two 2-4, 2-4 they would host tiebreaker because they won the round count 12-8.

3. The above two rules will be exactly the same for the 2v2 tournament however in the best of three format meaning each teams hosts one map and the third map is tie breaker.

3. Man up rule will not be in effect at the tournament. This means to get the win for a round you must eliminate all the opposing team.

4. Five round rule will be in effect. This means after five completed rounds, (if necessary) the team with the most rounds won will win the map.

Example – If a team is winning 2-1 in rounds on round 5 after the completion of the round, the team with more rounds will win the map. If the round score is tied 2-2/1-1 the team that wins the 6th round will win the map.

This means that NO more than 5 rounds will be played on each map, unless the map score is tied.
